Veneer Terminolgy

Bundle - 24-32lvs of sequenced veneer

Layon - When the leaves of veneer have been jointed together

BookMatched - Every second leaf flipped over before joining

SlipMatched - leaf feed in without flipping

Reverse SlipMatched - Every second leaf turned 180 deg.

Book EndMatched - When 2 or more layons are made so the grain matches perfectly on the joining sheets.

MisMatched - Random veneer leaves jointed to look like solid timber.
